Web Proxy Requests

The web proxy requests view displays data collected by the rXg integrated transparent web proxy. Each and every web request that transits the rXg is logged into the rXg database. This enables the operator to have complete cognizance over the end-user population.

The rXg transparent web proxy must be enabled in order for the web proxy requests to be logged. The rXg transparent web proxy is configured through the persistent caching view of the policies menu. The operator may choose to enable the transparent web cache for only the subset of the end-user population for which deep cognizance is desired.

At the top of the web proxy requests view is a summary report.

Direct access to data is available through a scaffold at the bottom of the view.

The operator may also generate reports for activity by account , IP address or MAC address by using the action links found at the right side of the various scaffolds throughout the administrative console.

In the example above, the operator has accessed a web proxy requests report through the ARP view of the instruments menu. Similar reports may be generated through the scaffolds on the policies , accounts , sessions and DHCP views.
